This installation investigates the abilities images have in changing a landscape and vice versa. A portrait of a young dead man is installed on the river of his birthplace, Arabsalim-South Lebanon. The installation was accompanied by a series of texts published weekly in the local newspaper for a duration of 6 weeks. The texts poetically investigate and exhaust the possibilities of the young man’s death, while his image, hung on top of the river slowly fades away from the effect of humidity and natural forces.
“His face is running in the water
The trees are running towards him”*
