The Complete Uncredited Works: The Image of The Face
The Complete Uncredited Works: The Image of The Face
Silkscreen on Leather covers. 2019
The covers of unknown works extrapolate the changes in landmarks as a result of the disintegration of sources and poems that describe them. These transformations arise in the space between the two sides of the cover, a space whose rules are dictated by the unknown works in which its phantom hovers, rendering these covers as impossible objects, made to hold something that doesn’t exist. This work reflects the delicate, poetic process of disintegration in the writing of history, as texts become untethered from their authors.
